Open Road India – 11 – Rambo (Dalhousie)

Dalhousie, a hill station built on and around five hills in Chamba district of Himachal

Pradesh welcomed us with open arms. It mesmerized us with its offering of

breathtaking views, widely defined culture and delicious cuisine. But that wasn’t all.

To inspire us, it shared a story of Sunil Kumar urf ‘Rambo’, a localite who runs his

own eatery stall, actually scooter.

Yes! You heard it right. It’s a restaurant on a scooter.

Rambo told us how he came up with the idea of his scooter restaurant. Roaming

around the streets of Dalhousie one can chomp on some mouth-watering food like

French toast, Maggi, half-fry omelette and a lot more that is instantly cooked by him.

Believing in the mantra of #peace, which Rambo feels is symbolized by the colour

yellow, he has painted his scooter a bright, chirpy yellow. Incidentally, his scooter

also serves as his restaurant’s menu card. His story describes his life’s #openroad

thoughts that helped him reach where he has today and even encourages us to believe

in the same. #OpenRoadIndia

Watch to know him better.
