Govind Mishra started writing when he was in the 10th standard, though he did not know it then, but he was destined to be a novelist. After joining the Indian Recenue Service he decided to start writing as well. Since then he has received the most prestigious Indian awards for his writing including the Saraswati Samman in 2013. After writing 53 books, 12 novels and more than 150 stories, he continues to write at the age of 77. He believes writers never die, they exist in their books forever.
